Our target categories are women and girls aged 15-35 years at risk of GBV and/ or HIV infection; women and girls survivors of sexual and gender based violence and their partners; Pregnant and lactating mothers living with HIV and their partners; Women in HIV discordant relationships and their partners and Youth living with HIV (15-24 years) Adolescent and young women (15-24 years) at highest risk of HIV/GBV

Target women and girls are sensitized on fundamental human/women rights, leadership roles, life skills and legal rights and their roles in decision making on issues that affect them; while community gatekeepers and male partners of HIV positive women and survivors will be trained and supported to understand women rights and to become agents of change on violence against females.

The Project economically empowers the target beneficiaries in acquisition of business and vocational skills while supporting them to access affordable financial products from government programs and through their self-selected community savings and lending groups. With the empowerment, the beneficiaries reject abusive relationships and take appropriate steps including legal redress. Others liberate themselves from economic dependency and unorthodox means of livelihoods.
